For those working in the industry, this year has been challenging to say the least, with many installers continuing to provide vital services throughout lockdown. It’s true when people say that ‘not all superheroes wear capes’ so it’s more important than ever to take time to celebrate their hard work and dedication over the past 12 months, and champion the heroes of the industry who often go unnoticed.
The awards are now open for entry for its sixth year, and are completely free to enter, with installers encouraged to submit a case study of a project that demonstrates not only fantastic results, but clever product selection and problem-solving skills. There is a prize bundle worth over £10,000 on offer for the finalists, including a trip to our HQ in Denmark for the national winner!
The awards will crown nine regional winners, who will then all have the chance to go on to be declared the national Heating Installer Awards winner 2021, as well as two special category winners:
The overall winner will be announced at industry trade show Installer2021 where reigning champion Phil Metcalf will hand over his crown. To enter plumbers and heating installers should visit www.heatinginstallerawards.co.uk and fill in the short form detailing a project they are particularly proud of. You can also look out for our Danfoss reps who will be out and about on the road visiting merchants over the coming weeks, and have all the information needed to help you enter. Or if you prefer, give the awards team a call directly on 0161 8711188 and they’d be happy to take your entry over the phone.
After entries close in February, an expert judging panel made up of industry professionals and installers will choose nine regional finalists as well as an initial shortlist for the two categories. The overall winners will then be decided by a combination of judges’ scores, peer reviewed technical challenges and a public vote.
