Tell us a little bit about yourself? I am 24 years old, born in Luton but raised in South Wales. I love the outdoors, animals, nature etc, being a proper country person. I did my degree in Geography at Aberystwyth university. And I dislike cities.
What is your career background? Prior to joining Danfoss, I worked as a Royal Naval Officer for 2 years. Before that I worked in a pub in the Breacon beacons.
Why did you join Danfoss? Danfoss offers a unique combination of work-life balance and an opportunity to achieve more. Plus being a Geography enthusiast, a sustainable company, such as Danfoss, is hugely important.
What do you most enjoy about your role? The ability to plan and work my own day, I am effectively my own boss with regards to where I’m going and who I’m seeing. The constant changing nature of the role also keeps the job stimulating and rewarding.
Would you recommend others to also work at Danfoss? Yes. Maybe because it’s a Danish company they have really nailed the work-life balance aspect.
What is your hobby? I’m a keen musician and runner. I play guitar (with an extensive collection) and also run up hills for fun with my Gopro.
What was the last book you read? In all honesty, I don’t read much. I listen to podcasts and audiobooks in the car.
Tell us something interesting about yourself? Do you have a hidden talent? I pick up hobbies and drop them very quickly, for example during lockdown I tried to compose several film scores, got bored and gave up, and now I’ve recently got a Gopro and make videos to put online (running on hills etc).
